the touchdown should have been called been called back because (as the photo shows) coach Pete Carroll was roughly 10 feet into the field of play, along with someone else from the Seahawks.
Just an interesting tidbit....

There should have been MANY penalties called on Seattle's offense and defense. Offensive line held on EVERY frickING RUN PLAY, and their secondary committed defensive holding or interference on a vast majority of our passing plays.

That being said.....this is not the reason for the loss. We were out coached, and outplayed where it mattered...the scoreboard.

We also had some penalties that should have been called; which we got away with (not to mention Robinson's fumble)

If it was called back we probably have less a chance of winning than we did

yup. during the play, i thought keenan was being wise and letting him score. on the replay, it actually looked like quite the opposite. but it worked out well

There were a lot of penalties that were missed. Mainly when Colston was wearing richard Sherman on the 3rd and 15. That the breaks, sometimes you get them sometimes you don't. I don't think it wouldve made a difference in the outcome. We had opportunities that we didn't capitalize on.

The officials won't call defensive holding or pass interference on every play even if it does happen. The worst part of the game was when lance was mugged down the field and didn't get a flag, then the next play he is called for offensive pass interference.

The bigger missed call was the false start on the 3rd and 3 pass over White's head.

And the fumble should have gone Seattle's way.....

And like someone mentioned it was good for the Saints he scored.

These two statements are completely contradictory.

Agree. Brees choked, Jimmy was no where to be found and Sean continues to call screen plays. Saints got beat down period I love them but it is what it is. Plus how do you have a hall of fame QB and prolific offense and not have a kicker the last half of the year that can make a kick???? So throw Mickey under the bus too.

It's not contradictory.....there were plenty of penalties not called against Seattle that should have been. BUT great teams have to overcome the homefield advantage with the refs and overcome adversity. Which, unfortunately, did not happen.

no doubt. If he's down inside the 20, they just kneel the game out, and we don't get any last-second excitement.
