If you enjoyed watching Lone survivor or reading the book, I highly suggest the documentary Restrepo if you haven't. It covers a year long deployment in the Korengal Mountains and is IMO much more of an impactful movie than lone survivor the motion picture.

I've watched Restrepo 3-4 times. Definitely my favorite documentary. It's so good.

I loved Restrepo. I just finalized the Lone Survivor book and can't wait for the movie.
I highly recommend the book War by Sebastian Jurgen. He was embedded with the filmmaker who shot Restrepo. It's like the book companion to the movie. It does a great job of telling the story of the men on the ground rather than the politics of it all.

Restrepo is a great documentary. I've mentioned in other Lone Survivor threads but highly recommend Victory Point for those interested learning more about that area of Afghanistan.

This was really good.
VICE - What winning looks like
Doc. that follows a guy has been embedded in the past on tours of duty and in 2012 he goes back and takes a look at where things are now. It's got to be infuriating and frustrating for troops, to see what they have to deal with and how their hands are tied.

Restrepo was good and really showed the monotony and fierce fighting those guys go through.
Also good is "which way is the frontline from here". It's a journal piece about the life and death of Tim Hetherington of Restrepo.
