Sig P226 MK25 - All black or desert finish?

In my search for a 9mm pistol I moved on from the Glock 17 and ultimately settled on a Sig P226 MK25, an identical model to the pistol issued to SEALs according to Sig. I just couldn't take a DA only pistol, so out went the Glock.
I'm trying to decide between the all black model and the Flat Dark Earth model. Pics below, what are your thoughts? I already have a blacked out 1911 as well as a black 1911 with rosewood grips so I'm kind of leaning toward the "Desert" finish. What say you?

I like the desert, but that black looks really good in that picture for some reason.

Yeah, it's easier to find non-stock images for the all black model, but here's another shot of the desert model that shows off the finish a bit better:

That desert finish is badass. I'd get it. It's different.

I have that exact gun (black one) anchor and all. Came with a seal coin in a sweet pelican case with three mags. Got it for free at an NRA auction.

How do you like it?

I would go all black, and throw a Nice tac light on and your gtg. Glocks are not double action, their striker fired, single action.

It's my favorite gun right now. Really fun to shoot too. It's the one that currently resides in the bedside safe.

They're not a true SA. Glock's "Safe Action" is closer to a DA in performance.

Post a pick of whichever one you get.

I am a black finish guy but that desert finish is very attractive. For something different, I may have to choose the desert model.

I definitely like the black finish, but all of my pistols are black already so I wouldn't mind adding some variety. Then again, I'll probably go with whichever version I can get the best deal on.

I just don't like that tan for some reason

I have the standard p226 in black & love it. The FDE looks good though. Either way great purchase, you will love it.

Your original Glock thread made me shop for the Sig P226. In fact I had a TacOps in my hand yesterday but I didn't buy it. I want a FDE pistol for my collection as well but in this instance I would go with the black version.

My personal opinion would be to get the Desert...
first.. then later the black.

That's what I did. Just placed an order for the black model. I've always liked the FNH FNX-45 Tactical in FDE, so that may be where I pick up some variety eventually. And yeah I wanna slap an RMR on it.
