In Denham Springs, some residents say they have complained about their water for years. From time to time they say without warning the water turns from clear, to brown. City officials say it's not appetizing to look at, but it does happen.

News video in link

I live in Denham and have noticed brown water from time to time, in fact I think our HOA called the city about it and they came out and opened some fire hydrants for half a day...seems like Durbin in lying when he says this is the first he has heard of brown water in Denham.

Someone was repairing some piping and switched the sewer and water feed. Happens all the time on base.

well, I would suspect that he has seen it...but I wouldn't consider it much of an issue...

that kind of thing it typically caused by rust or tannins, which are some other stains in the water...

bottom line is, it looks like hell, but it is not unsafe to drink...the only way to stop it is to replace the entire water system, which will cost a hell of a lot on your water bill...

It would be interesting to see if people bought brown bottled water over clear.

Denham Springs water has always sucked. My grandmother's water smells like raw eggs.
