What kind of music do you listen to? Who are you favorite artists, and what are your favorite albums? What are the top 10 shows you've seen?

just about everything, but manly progressive rock/metal lately.

of all time, 311, jimi, zep, tesseract, tool, fair to midland, I could go on and on, though.

what are your favorite albums?

lateralus - tool
axis: bold as love
juturna & on letting go - circa survive
fables from a mayfly - fair to midland

I could keep going

that's tough:

1. fair to midland in BR
2. 311 in atlanta
3. fair to midland acoustic in denton, tx
4. tool in bossier
5. 311 in bossier
6. modest mouse in dallas right after johnny marr joined
7. jazz fest 2009
8. eli young band in nacogdoches.
9. angels and airwaves in dallas
10. eric church in bossier (yea, I know :/)

9/12/99 Ghost

That link is to the blog, The Daily Ghost, that goes like second by second through all major Ghosts ever played with some some awesome commentary. I've read at least 50 of that guys review/commentarys, they're pretty enjoyable.

I love this chart for the jam:

9/14/99 Disease

From the same '99 show as the famed Boise Bag (and also one of my favorite Gumbos, the one with the extended Another Bites the Dust tease/jam)

Trey just fricking murders this one

And I'm done for the night. I guess I'll try again to actually fall asleep...

I need to read the article on the GOAT Ghost (from one of the best sets of all time), 7.6.98.

ETA:

quote:

After Mike perfectly crafts the Ghost Bass Line into the AC/DC Jam, Ghost takes it’s time coming full circle. Another killer Ghost intro section. At 1:25, you can hear Trey mutter “Yeah, Yeah”. Trey then starts to throw some funk into this intro section and deploys loops that circle the theater. What develops is more of a Ghost intro jam. Mike locks down the bass line while Trey and Fish are free to play around and make for one of the more interesting Ghost intros.

Why whack the longest threads with the most informative posts and the most new, unique posters of any topic on the board? Sound idea.

They got angry when all of the Phish threads were bumped to combat the Drake threads.

It was dark times for the Music Board.

Frakenstein is one of my favorite Phish covers. I like the one from Vegas 96, but I couldn't find it
