I remember pretty well since I went to most of his games. He couldn't run, but he had a cannon. He wasn't even the worst SEC QB in his era.

Yeah, he had one of the strongest arms I've ever seen, just wasnt very smart with the ball. He was bad, but I don think he was the worst sec QB

Truth is he had a lot of ability. Tough, great arm just couldnt play QB. I remember telling my dad he is out of positition....needed to be a LB!
