Does stud. Not returning affect present or future recruits?

Seems as if Brumfield and Clapp are all LSU but I was wondering the same thing.

depending on the hire, it could be a very positive thing. i dont think it reflects negatively to any of our recruits.

also may be one of the reasons collins might stay. we've been needing to develop olinemen better for a while.

Doubt it. Brumfield and Clapp are all LSU, along with Clifton Garrett, who Stud actually helped a lot with

not stud, but ensminger is the key to the entire class staying in tact. :troll:

Garrett loves Chavis and Miles more imo. Chavis recruited him the most.

Any ideas who we might be looking at to replace? My sources were a little surprised.

Thread going on over on the Rant but it appears Andy Moeller is likely the leader in the clubhouse. Just got to keep him away from the French Quarter

Ravens O-Line coach that just lost that title today and Stud gets let go today as well. Coincidence?

The fact that we are replacing him, should be a positive for recruiting. Coach Cam is going to set up a staff of highly qualified men with coaching skills that match his plans of building a great offense. This can only be a good thing.

How long was he with Cam?

ETA Nvmd he was there for 3 years as the Oline coach and an assistant before that and Oline coach at Meechigan when Jake Long was there.

well, if this Raven-izing of the offense gets us the RB attack so successfully done by Ray Rice, then Fournette and/or Hill could be in the Heisman hunt.

Did I not read that Juluke was not so enamored with LSU in the past. Of course, a six figure salary heals all wounds. It's a year late, but we need to stop the aTm poaching at Karr....

He could take over for Ensminger. We are recruiting more receiving-style tight ends, so we could let Henry take them in and basically let Juluuke restore and strengthen the fence

They got one player from Karr that LSU wanted. And now that Daddy Ellis is not close with the younger players, there should no longer be someone in their ear about going to College Station.

Yes, but LSU lost two 5* players from one school in NOLA. It's quite obvious that LSU is going to take some steps to improve relationships to not let it happen again.

there won't be two 5* players at karr (in the same year) again in the next 10 years minimum.

The better question here is IF we bring in an NFL Oline coach does that make others seriously consider us? Could we get a flip due to a boom hire?
