Doesn't anyone remember this?

Jeremy Hill was in beast mode and the LSU defense played great in the first half giving up 119 yards to AU

No point for this post besides reminding everyone that the majority of that defense will be back next season with the additions of LF and others.

the defense played well especially down the stretch.

lots to be excited about as they now have experience and shut down some of the best offenses in the league.

much easier schedule

most schools are either bringing in new qbs as well or have very young qbs.

defense is far harder to replace in college football and LSU is finally returning most of these guys now with experience and then some. really need to fill the DT position tho.

the offensive line is more than capable of mauling people and LSU should run wild. really helps if La'el Collins returns

Oh wait, you were serious??

What games you see us losing? Even if we lose to AU, Bama, and the Aggies, I still need to hear the other two or three you think we lose to and don't even say Wisconsin or the banhammer will arrive shortly

we can be a bad matchup for perimeter offenses. only reason auburn starting doing a little is because we stopped being as aggressive in the second half.

we'll have a down game against spread teams from time to time, but we're built to stop those types of teams.

hopefully we can keep aggie, auburn, ole miss, state and florida on lockdown for a bit. only reason we lost to uf in 2012 was minter had to come out of the game, and im not even gonna revisit the ole miss debacle, best i just move on from that.

On a wet field early in the year. 9-3 next year losing to much (sounds familiar huh) and a new QB who will make mistakes. Could 10-2 happen? yep, but so could 8-4.

IMO the problem was the mainly the secondary. It was such a revolving door and we were getting passed on with violence. Once RR and White got their bearings and we got back to that right man coverage, we did much better. We were playing so much zone to start the season it was unbearable

We'll have to put up with the hypotheticals until next year. Bottom line is that Chief has Gus and Sumlin reasonably figured out. I expect a similar situation to us thrashing A&M this year when everyone thought JFF was gonna rip us to shreds.

the fuk? How is this going to happen? They couldn't beat us WITH Manziel and now they are going to lose him, Matthews and Evans.

I was asking the guy that said we lose 5-6 games next year. I wanted to hear which ones.

BTW, with the guys coming back...

We return 36 of the top 44 from the depth chart.

If we can get 3-4 guys to step up at DT, we will be stacked for a run in 2014.
