NES Game Identity

I am looking for a NES game I had when I was young. I cannot remember the name and cannot find it when searching key words. I am hoping someone here can help.
It was a military styled game. You were one soldier I think dressed in blue. I remember the enemies ran in a line and you could shoot through an entire line of them with the rocket launcher.
Any ideas?

Haha not Mega Man. More modern type military. It was a side scroller.

I was going to go with Commando just because of the blue uniform, but not a side scroller.

None of those. You had a knife and if you timed it right you could just stab all the enemies running at you in a line.
