62 years old
84-89 Fresno State (OL/RC)
90-91 Arizona (OC/OL)
92-95 Cleveland Browns (TE/OL)
96 Baltimore Ravens (TE/OL)
97-11 Fresno State (HC)
12-13 Atlanta Falcons (OL)
Hill was the offensive line coach at Los Angeles Valley College from 1974 to 1976. In 1977, he became the offensive line coach at the University of Utah, where he would stay through 1980. This was followed by short stints at UNLV in 1981 and 1982, and a one-year stay in the Canadian Football League with the Calgary Stampeders in 1983. After an assistant coaching job at Fresno State, Hill went on to become the offensive coordinator at the University of Arizona from 1990 to 1991. He then went to coach in the National Football League with the Cleveland Browns (under Bill Belichick) and the Baltimore Ravens, where he served as the tight ends and offensive line coach for both teams.

Doesn't have anything to do with LSU, don't care.

FWIW, I put Atlanta's Oline woes more on the staff misjudging the readiness of the players. Theri GM and owner even said as much

I think the application to LSU is "If Stud is to leave would Hill be a viable replacement" kind of thing.
Or I could have been way off base

he or mike sherman would be home runs

Fiery, tough.
Fired from Falcons. Possible scapegoat. Falcons o-line was abysmal, but player readiness was abysmal and injured.
Can he recruit SEC? Recently NFL and former West Coaster.

Ben Wilkerson or Kevin Mawae would be by oline hire

Worried about his ability to recruit.

That would be a ridiculous snag to get someone of his caliber as a position coach

Pat may be working on his NFL pension at this stage in his career

Oh I see what you are doing here. This is one of those thinly veiled threads where you throw out a random name in coaching....but it's really a "it is time for Stud and Ensminger to go" thread. Just come out and say it....geez. All the cool kids bash Stud and Ensminger.

Why? Please list your reasons why these would be good hires. Just because you played OL at LSU doesn't mean you would be a great coach of the OL at LSU.

i have nothing against Ensminger
LSU really dont need a TE coach because LSU does not use the TE position
