They barely beat Auburn on a come from behind win and its not Bama was still on the radar for the claiming to be best after OU shellacked them, not that that would make it acceptable.

I was at the game an never heard that. Maybe it was 5 people who stayed in the stadium for game day final.

Back in the old days one poll would have said that even though Auburn beat Bama they were really better and that the bowl game was just an exhibition.......Championship. I know it sounds crazy but that is what is flying over BDS right now. I mean they only won 10 and are considered the greatest football institution in the south, I always thought this was beneath them. I guess that opinion is not shared due to the fact that their fans defend the hell out of it on here, I guess whatever you need.
