anyone can advertise, but schools involved in the game each get one or two free spots for advertising.

ESPN with Charter shows local commercials in Tuscaloosa. I've seen an ad for University of West Alabama, and one with Nick Saban asking me to buy local. And a cheap arse podunct used car commercial
