a took some notes:
how do you keep yourself for making the game too big?
i think it's individual different for each team. those teams who make big plays to be in this game, you don't have to fire them up. other guys can be lead into an emotional d depth, the start of every game is a huge focus you have to be into your technique, your assignment, don't look in the stands look at your teammates, come to the field and do your job. I think different teams need different stimulus and different coaching. I've been part of a positive experience and negative experience
do you remember yourself to look in the stands during the championship? you are allowed the minute and half it takes you to leave the tunnel enjoy your team, all the prep has been done, let's smile, here, now let's turn our attention to winning the game. certainly being in the game to both teams is a tremendous compliment. they have to realize it's the next step to take victory it's not something that takes place by entering the stadium, you have to go earn it and that's how it is for every game. i think these 2 teams will play awfully well
who are you picking?
I am certainly rooting for the winner. I want the best competition. I think if i had to absolutely bet, I would not. I have a very specific team in mind, I don't know if I can jinx them or make someone unhappy.
Auburn fans don't need another reason to dislike you.
i'm a fan of Jimbo, here was on our staff, Malzahn is a quality coach that has done a great job, i recognize excellence in both guys it's just one of those. I have a professional pick but I have a personal bias that isn't going to take sides. We are going to take sides root for great play take penalties go make them in this game and let the winner standup alone at the backend
what would you have said if I told you Auburn down 35-14 in the 4th would be in the position they are in today.
What had happened to the LSU tigers?
you did beat them, what was the recipe? first off, we played very good defense, tackled the ball. our offense kept the ball and made big plays. they turned the ball over a couple of times, we did not turn the ball over. we played the 1st like the 4th and that day we were certainly the best team
let me know when you want to run for office and we will be your campaign manager.
my pleasure, and what a great spot to be in right now.

Interview was almost over, Coach Miles says "good luck calling the game tonight". Host, "we'are calling the game"? Miles should have been a politician, did not answer a single question.
