Signed for 2 years 1.5M. I say Nay so far. Hopefully he'll improve though. Sometimes it takes a little time for a guy to learn the system. But he seems a bit slow to me.

Fairly aggressive dunk on Hibbert got me from 6 to 12.

Dunk on Hibbert
Dunk at Dallas
Euro dunk

By no means do dunks make a player, but they do make fan-faves. And God knows we need fans.

He has more potential than I initially thought. Will take some seasoning but in time, I could see him being a valuable asset. I won't fully evaluate him until the end of the year or maybe even in next season if he's still with the team. He's showing that he could be more than just a 6 foul big. I'm quietly excited.

I'd say yay. He looks better than I thought he would right off the bat.

Yay. As a 4th or 5th big making minimal money he looks pretty good.

he has crazy potential but it's gonna take more than the shite monty tries to roll with. AA can have a significant benefit from reke having consistent major mins.

If you had any kind of realistic expectations for this guy, I don't see how you can be disappointed. From his first game he's been hands down better than Steimsma and Amudson. IMO, the only thing Smith does better than Ajinca (besides being the rah-rah guy) is his mid range jumper, but we need a Center who isn't allergic to the paint. He'll never be an All-Star, but if he can keep his foul rate down, he's currently the best option we have at Center. He also seems to be a pretty good passer for someone his size.

He's a big man that can walk and chew gum at the same time. What do you think?

and he just takes up space, which is extremely useful for the slashers on the team.

Hes a damn superstar comparing how he plays to the predictions of those on this board.

But hes a good pickup. He is limited but moves smoother than most big lanky centers.

Yea. He gives blocks, rebounds, passing and cleans up well. Worth his contract.

^Less system adjustment, more match-ups account for the parity in his play.
