I just put one up outside on my back porch and I bought a cover for it. Do you bring tv inside when it is freezing like the next few days will be? Or will it be fine outside with the cover?

Is it completely exposed? Mine is outside but still underneath the patio roof - I've never covered it or anything and had no problems.

Then yeah I wouldn't worry about it - you don't even need a cover - it does fine in 10 and 110 degree weather. Of course, I wouldn't put a really nice tv out there bc of exposure to dust, pollen, etc - I just grabbed a cheap one for $250 or so and called it a day.

Do not turn it on if it is dewy or frosty outside. Buddy of mine blew his up doing this.

I had about four on a patio at work in Bossier City. The only time I covered them was when the wind caused the rain to hit them. Never had to replace but one.

Mine is covered by a good size patio but a do keep a cover on it when it gets to freezing just in case. Also when I cut grass just in case my mower decides to make something a projectile(that would be my luck)

I've had one outside for 3 years with no problems.

The main issue I've read is actually operating them in extreme temps. The liquid crystal doesn't react the same in very cold weather.

most tv's have recommended operating temps

We have them at a camp and outside under a patio. They have been there for years in all conditions and are fine. As long as they aren't exposed to rain.
