We've got 4 top notch QB prospects on board, one of them will be handing off the ball to LFournette most of the time. A++

If CC stays, then the QB decision may come down to the best passer. In all honesty, neither AJ in the bowl game, or Harris in the UA game, looked good enough to say they were a frontrunner, so enter into the equation Rettig and Rivers. Should CC depart back to tNFL, then I think Les Miles will narrow it down to AJ/BH and go from there.

Not to concerned about WR, we always seem to have star power there, just a matter of next man up. TE appears ok, although we never seem to utilize them.

tOL has always been my main criticism. Still think we should be getting better recruits at that spot but we'll return 4 starters off a unit that did quite well.

DLine..Big ? here. Hopefully our past few years recruiting and backups this year develop into a unit we're all use to seeing as LSU worthy.

LB..Got a ton of them that's for sure. Mostly young and hope they, along with the incoming talent, provide somewhat of a upgrade at the position.

Secondary..Young but loaded with talent. In this age of the spread offenses, Chavis has assembled an ultra talented, yet young, defensive backfield to combat the spread. Should be among the best in the country for the next few years.

All in all...I can't fricking wait....

While we've recruited well Jones coaching ability may be somewhat in question and we really shot ourselves in the foot with that loss to Rhode Island. We can still be a good team but thers no room for error now! Oh are you talking bout football?

Well, Recruiting is the lifeblood of CFB, and it looks like the Mega LA Class of 2014 won't be. We still have a very good class, and now we need to do everything in our power to keep these guys and get them on NSD, in addition to scrambling to fill out the class with close to or better players to the ones we lost.

The perfect scenario class would have had us in the NC game several times I believe, but if we can sneak in to the top 4 we'll do OK. The fly in the ointment is we lost instate 3 players to Bama and now SN to aTm - all SEC West rivals. That's not good and unsustainable in future years.

I can see us getting 10 wins ahead, but not so sure about the NC chances anymore. On the other hand, there are about 100 other schools who would love to have our "problem" LOL

If Rob Bolden can stay healthy, he'll be a real player in who gets the starting job. People are quick to forget or just don't know that he started as a freshman at Penn State.

It all starts up front. Our line play needs to step up BIG. We'll be better than just fine everywhere else.

Yes & he played scared. He wouldn't run, take a hit & did not know the offense. I live in PA near PSU. He is also far from a clutch player. His passing was always high & never improved. I doubt that his time at LSU gave him much good rep time. He is not a D1 player IMO.

He was awful at Penn State and had lost his position. That is why he transferred because he was falling down the depth chart. If he was going to be playing he would have already been playing here.
