Those must be PC screen shots then. These new gen consoles are NOT that good. I have them both.

Wasn't that one of the main things though that the consoles hadn't really been pushed to their capacity with all the games currently out?

Well I think the PCers knew this going in.
Those little Jaguar APUs aren't too powerful. They are still stuck in 2011.

For what we pay for the PS4, i'm satisfied. I thought ShadowFall(only PS4 game I own) felt and looked great.
The game had great HD textures and greatly improved physics. After that it is all downhill, lack of or terribly optimized detail, natural lighting, bloom, ambient occlusion, anti-aliasing and post processing makes you realize how far back this gen really is.

Absolutley. In the past the consoles have been ahead of the PC's for a year or two.
This gen, the consoles launched, and they are starting off 2 years behind PCs

Everything I've seen/read about this game has me excited. I love gran turismo but this has a chance to blow it and forza out of the water.

From what I have seen playing it at my Nephew's its a great looking game no doubt but hopefully graphics will continue to progress because after being on PC for two years Froza 5 didn't blow me away like it did others. I have racing games on Steam from 3-4 years ago that look as good as it does.

I'm not circle jerking. I said I own BOTH of the new consoles and I play them more then I've played my PC lately (no video card atm).

But to assume the pictures can not possibly be for consoles, only for PC is silly to assume. Project Cars should be the best looking game on every platform it releases on. For quite some time at least.

And that very well my so... But I will bet my left nut those images aren't in game screen shots on a console. The hardware on these consoles aren't that powerful and the developers haven't figured out how to maximize the full potential this early in the consoles life. I'm not hating on consoles man. I'm just stating my opinion.

Well, none of them are from actual races. They're in replay mode where you can freely control the camera. Look at other racers like GT5 and the better looking shots you see are from replay mode.
Not that this means they're bullshots, but just they're taken in a way that you see the best possible image.

Well, the photos look great but as a huge fan of all racing games I will hold off in saying this game will be the new torch bearer of auto racing games. There is more to a racing game than just pretty pictures, something that even Forza 5 developer are learning from the people that have supported their game for years. Physics will be a major decider in how well the game plays, and customization as well as track selection, car selection and community interaction will be the deciding factor for me.
The thing about this game that worries me the most is that it is being developed using private donor and publicly raised money...no biggie at the surface but they don't have the huge backing that Forza and GT have from Sony and Microsoft. Racing games are and have always been the genre that pushed the console and PC to the limits in what is capable as far as how they look and the physics....I most certainly will be interested in how this comes out, been hearing about it for several years now ready to see something completed.

You really think so?
This is still not impressive. Yes textures and physics are nice but lighting, AA, ambient occlusion and post proccessing is still so far away.
