The Justice Department is spending more than $500,000 to “enhance” its company profile on LinkedIn and increase its “brand awareness.”

The contract, awarded on Christmas Eve, gives the government “unlimited access” to each of the networking site’s 250 million users through LinkedIn’s “Recruiter” service.

The DOJ’s Criminal Division, which enforces federal criminal laws, will use LinkedIn Recruiter to post job advertisements and seek out potential employees. Carahsoft Technology Corporation, a government IT company, will receive $544,338 to administer the service, according to the award.

I wonder who owns the company giving the contract. Humm let me guess, a democratic Obama supporter.

You have a good point, worth looking into. Follow da money.

Before the usual apologists say Bush did this too and big deal why complain about such a trivial thing, blah blah blah...

It infuriates me that they make cuts regarding the military but continue to spend money enhancing their government departments that have turned into political arms for Obama

I thought that was what USAJOBS website did--announce job openings within FedGov.

And if they are so good why did ObamaCare fail? Why weren't they used if they weren't?

Why the heck would the Justice Department need recruits?
