First time deer hunting in years. My son is supposed to hunt this stand this afternoon. Don't want to mess him up.

Is it the rut where you're at? If so, all damn day.

If it's over and no movement by 10. Put on some hunters orange and do a little ground stalking.

Wish I had my pellet rifle. Could shoot a limit of squirrels with the quickness!

i swapped it up today.. hunting from 9-12. You wont hurt nothing as long as your not making a load of noise. if he is hunting this afternoon in same stand insay get out by lunch

As long as you are gone around noon you shouldn't mess him leaving the stand. Just get down and leave quietly.
