they're not coached well at all.

Dudes out of position, dudes that can't tackle, dudes that use horrible technique.

If that is Tony Brown's path to the NFL, then so be it.

Our Freshman CB's have much better technique and play much more sound than what you see from Bama DB's.

Oh but Bama DB's make really loud noises when they hit people.

You need to simmer down and back away from the keyboard hating a kid. hate the school.

But they were soundly beat all night long while LSU Secondary locked Iowa wr.

We will have a strong defense next year mark my words. IF we can develop a rush again. LB play will be solid.

Their Corners have been really horrible this year. Robinson shut down Mike Evans when he had a field day against Alabama.

There has been mention for years of Nick Saban's defensive backs not being NFL ready. The proof is in the results...rarely are their defensive backs successes in the NFL.

I have no doubt he is a great coach, but when a head coach essentially functions as a position coach as well, it seems that the particular position often struggles.

We have seen this with Miles and the offensive line if we are being totally honest with ourselves.

You heard the announcers say that Kirby smart said if there is an injury to a corner we can be in trouble. They have little depth there. Tony brown can come in and see significant time. I think brown could play at Lsu early as well but with Robinson and white not as much as at Bama.

will be interesting to watch, not sure how much there is to the story of a recurring shoulder issue, kind of surprised Saban didn't back off after that came out.

In my personal opinion, that had a LOT more to do with scheme than players. When Chavis went to the soft zone, our players got passive and reactive. You saw that a LOT this year. Then look at the Iowa and A&M games. When he put a little more faith in the players, went to man coverage, and applied more pressure to the opposing QB, we got more aggressive and a LOT more effective. Think about how young we were in the secondary. And look at where the Iowa and A&M games fell. A&M after and open date. Iowa after a bowl break. I guess when he felt he could prepare them adequately, he turned them loose.

Considering how he has called things with more experienced Ds in previous years, we should be fine. The young guys in the secondary are growing up and getting it. You'll probably see a lot more aggressiveness and trust from Chavis with our D next year.

I'm just surprised with all the TB talk, he is a great ball player, but with the depth of the DB class this year, this isn't nearly as bad as losing a playmaker like Noil or a outstanding lineman like GW.
