Dude jumped ship and moved to TX to take the same job at UT, which is to make their highlight tapes. since he allegedly will lose his job with the Mack Brown retirement do yall think our Highlight video making guy comes home?

I read an article on the current video/tech that LSU has just yesterday. It was impressive. Article said the coaches and players have NFL-level tools at their disposal.

Doug A has been at LSU for 10+ years and has been video person of year in SEC and Nationally (yes they have this)...laugh all you want, we have one of the best...and his job is NOT to make highlight reels for fans, it is...shock, to cut and splice etc for coaches and players...he is from all indications GREAT at it..

The videos are made by students that work for Doug. So the guy probably graduated and went to work there.

I know DO personally. We were college roommates and graduated HS together.
He works in Media Relations, not for directly for the FB team. He's got a sweet gig at UT and I doubt he leaves anytime soon.

jobs in college are not like jobs in pros. even in the pros the videographers have job security beyond the coaching staff. they are support staff. they dont get fired because a coach does
