#1 T. Valentine, LSU recruit, current Miami commit
quote:
The Miami commitment (who also is looking at LSU) showed dominant streaks at times and was a handful to block.
quote:
If the Canes hold on to him (he said Sunday he was firm, but there is definite smoke where the Tigers are concerned), he could be a starter very, very soon in Coral Gables.

Dude is for real. Would love to flip.

Remind anyone else of Ego?
Posted on 12/30/13 at 10:56 pm to RATeamWannabe
Lots of folks feel confident he will flip but he keeps saying he's all Miami...
I guess it all boils down to whether he can get into Miami or not.

Was Ego that freakin big as a senior in high school?
Posted on 12/30/13 at 10:57 pm to RATeamWannabe
The Louisville fans I know still think he's going to flip for them.

I talked with Valentine in an elevator and the lobby in SA yesterday. I asked him simply, "where are you going to school?" and without hesitation he said, MIAMI. we talked some more and he said flat out that LSU was his #2 choice. true story for what it's worth.
great kid...hope we can flip him.

don't bet on this one guys

Kid may legitimately want to go to Miami and may not be able to, hope it works out for him either way, but would really like to see him fill one of the remaining spots in this class

is it harder to get into Miami than LSU?
Posted on 12/30/13 at 11:53 pm to WestlakeTiger
Gotta have two foreign language credits to get into da U
Posted on 12/30/13 at 11:53 pm to WestlakeTiger
Apparently its a foreign language requirement that Miami has, LSU does not require it to enroll.
And people who know people say there is a legit shot here.

two? damn.
I know LSU at one time required one.
I had to take Spanish for TOPS.
Does he have at least one?

Maybe they mean like Spanish 1 and Spanish 2. Not necessarily 2 languages.
Posted on 12/31/13 at 12:11 am to RBWilliams8
Right, two credits of the same language, at least that's how we did it at my high school.
But this is why a lot of people are confident in Valentine flipping eventually down the line. He's given the staff a lot of positive feedback
