excuse my ignorance but why the confidence in valentine when he's committed to miami (and yes i saw how bad the hurricanes looked in the bowl game against Louisville)

He has talked up LSU for awhile, saying if he went anywhere else, it would be LSU.
Has expressed his dismay over the Miami defense performances.
He may not qualify for Miami based on a foreign language requirement, LSU has no such requirement.

News on the street is he very interested in LSU and he is the recruit many analyst are talking about flipping to LSU. Our "surprise" commit if you want to say. I think Williams is OK bound.

The latest update on him was pro-Miami, but Sonny seems pretty confident we land him. So we'll see.

He really likes Brick Haley and speaks about how LSU puts dlinemen in the NFL....he is also taking an official to LSU in January...I also believe he stated that if LSU blows him away on the official, it would be hard to pass up.
Keep in mind he was once committed to Florida and Louisville....so, he is not afraid of de-committing...lol....but it seems very likely that we may end up getting his signature.

I think they get more points if they are one of the first with the right prediction, so it's almost better for some just to stick with their initial one.
I know Barton Simmons said he made the switch today and said it was tough because he was the first to predict Adams to Florida

I think the 4th is an accurate wait for either the meltdown or the celebration to subside enough for people to post again.
