In terms of difficulty to win. Geez people.
LSU:
-had to win at Bama
-had to win at Georgia (SEC Championship)
-had to beat Bama again (oh crap, we have to play them again?)
Bama:
-lost at home to LSU.
-able to focus on LSU with tons of motivation (revenge, redemption).

My goal for LSU is to win the SEC title every year. That is what counts to me because that can be done objectively on the field.
I cannot say, however, that winning the SEC is greater than winning the BCS. But even playing for the BCS title takes votes of people in North Dakota and Maine and luck. Ironically, our two BCS titles came in years we needed lots of luck from voters to even get to the game. The time we needed no luck to get in that game, 2011, we were blindsided by an undeserving mulligan team.
