Not sure if some of you have heard about this Cheering for Breena little girl. She was diagnosed with leukemia around Mayish or so. Awesome little girl, she's been battling at st jude in memphis, ms. Great personality, was a cheer leader, little twin bros, sings, great spirit, hospital adors her, the whole nine yards. Anyways, she had bone marrow transplant like maybe november ish or so. Lately things were quiet, the worse was feared. Few days ago this was posted. Obviously not out of the woods but this girls story is touching a lot of people out there.

A lot of people have been asking about Breanna and how she's been doing.. I have avoided people only because we were dealing with so much and it was too painful to talk about. We were told 3 weeks ago that her transplant was not successful. The chimerism (donor cell %) was dropping and the goal is to get to 100%. The pain and hurt started all over again like it felt on June 4 when she was first diagnosed. Her biopsy that was done when she left the transplant unit showed 30% mrd (cancer/diesease left). We were already talking about a possible 2nd transplant. Once again my baby told me she was really scared.. I told her it was ok to be scared, but not ok to give up. After we talked about it she was ok and her attitude was amazing. I'm telling yall I have such a positive little fighter who tries to keep a smile on her face even through the pain. Last Wednesday her doctor told me all of a sudden her chimerism (donor cells) was 100% in her blood. Since Bree was running high fevers for 2 weeks and the chimerism % went up her doctor did another biopsy on Thursday. I got the results today and her MRD (cancer/disease) was 0.9%. The donor cells have been working and attacking!! Best Christmas present ever! Who believes in miracles.. because we sure do! Please continue to pray the donor cells fight off the 0.9% that is left. Looks like this transplant is going in the right direction! Thank you Jesus and thank you for all of your prayers! Merry Christmas!!!

I've been watching it. She was someone Josey watched during his recent cancer fight. He traded private emails with her parents several times since they both got their original diagnosis earlier this year around the same time.
As a matter of fact, half of proceeds from Fishfighter's pirogue at Josey's benefit on 12-11 went to Breanna's fund. He truly cared about this young girl and told me several times he couldn't imagine fighting cancer as a child or watching his children doing it. I saw the FB post yesterday and immediately thought of the Big Kid smiling above as he got the news.

That's awesome, makes me happy josey knew of her story too. This little girl has brought many of tears to my eyes. Kind of hits me home a little bit more being a kid with my children. This girl is a fighter and truly an inspirational spirit. Her singing videos with the memphis qb dude are awesome.
