This is my rule of thumb: when a new quarterback is forced into action he'll throw two interceptions. I was very impressed with Anthony Jennings, but he still has to get his feet wet. If this interception theory holds true, can LSU overcome two turnovers?

Depends on what part of the field they occur on.

2 interceptions over the course of his career? Maybe 1 but 2 is way too high for Mr. Heisman.

Depends on whether the other guys convert them into points.

I don't expect a perfect game from Jennings. He can throw two picks and lSU still win. Just don't turn it over in Iowa's territory.

i think this team is capable of overcoming 2 interceptions if they are not pick 6's.

but, the team has to have a want. the team needs to be motivated for the entire 60 minutes. if so, we will win this game. iowa is a pretty solid team and is at least as good as ole miss.

So what...? Let the boy run as much of the offense as he can.... 2,3,4 int's, who cares as long as he learns now, rather than the 1st game of next year against Wisconsin...let him make as many mistakes as he needs to. This game means jack squat ....

If he makes mistakes (mental or throwing) across the middle with the Iowa LB corp he just might have some turnovers. But to say it's automatically going to happen? no.

I'm ok with an INT if it's on an under-throw on taking a shot down the field if the separation is there.

He is not new and this is his 2nd Year. Did Hodson throw 2 against Texas A&M?

This is MY rule of thumb. Stupid threads during the season should get whacked. Save the stupid threads for mid-to-late summer when there is nothing else to talk about.

What does that nonsense have to do with our true freshman starting QB? Is it some silly attempt to raise the bar for him so anything short of amazing will be considered a failure by him? Is that the new standard for our starting QBs?
