NBD - The Dissident in another fine glass, to go with lunch.

Lunch is a pork belly crostini with a poached quail egg with Dijon mustard sauce.

Bbrou33 - I haven't mailed your package, yet. Got another little surprise I wanted to add. I think you'll be pleased. Will mail today or tomorrow. Looking more like tomorrow.

Wiltz - picked up a couple of glasses for you. They look fragile. Will have to figure out best way to send. They are really nice and classy and I liked them a lot, so I picked up a couple for myself, too...

There are some interesting articles about the Teku glasses online. They were scientifically designed by some Germans and Italians to be an all purpose glass well suited to all beer types. The local craft beer and home brew guys swear they are the best way to fully appreciate a beer. I used one the other day at a tasting and really liked the way they rushed the aromas at you. I also found since they were stemmed the brews stayed cool longer.

Looking forward to getting them. Thanks!

But I'll have to do mine remotely... I'm trying to come up with a nice beer menu for the game. Sharing it with my Dad, so I'll probably get out the good stuff.

Probably have some nice stuff on the night before, too, which I'm assuming is when you'll have your tasting - just so I don't feel quite so left out.

FBD - Westbrook Orange Bliss

It's big on the orange up front then moves to sweet chocolate with a thick velvety mouthfeel. The combination of flavors are nice and balanced.

This was a first for me...I've never had a stout with orange before this.
