If television writers can't get it right, what is the hope for the general populace. I can't think of a phrase that is used more incorrectly. Pretty soon the wrong version will become the official version...but I couldn't care less. #stupidsgonnastupid

Most people are stupid and use that phrase so when you are in TV, or really any media, you cater to the highest audience,

Calm down, Sally. There's a lot more important things in this world to get your panties in a wad over. But if you want to get all bent out of shape over if, that's fine. I could care less.

I will say at least you can reason through intensive to think that it is correct.

Intensive meaning you can't put an exact value on it unlike something extensive. So "for all intensive purposes" could go something along the lines of "even though it's not exactly right it's close enough"

I eventually figured this out on my own. Always heard people say "I could care less" and finally realized that that doesn't make any sense at all

I'm actually glad this made the OT. I hate hearing it said that way. I think the same way. It's I couldn't care less
