I'd say we are a top 5 program. Name 5 better programs than us right now.

Alabama

Ohio State?
Florida State?

Look at the last 10 years - not many have accomplished as much as we have, and (Les haters unite!) we have one of the very best coaches most programs would kill to have.

Dude, why would anyone want to live there? Sounds dreadful.

That would be a long-winded answer...

Bottom line (without going into economics and demographics and such )....

Why would I not live here?

Check the OB bowl site, there are a number of activites that both teams will participate in. So yes, and LSU will show up within a day or as well.

Spending Christmas in a hotel instead of with family? I'm sure there was a reason why they did this, just know our coaches and players are with families today. The out of state players are with local guys.

They seriously showed up to a non BCS bowl 8 days early? Their super bowl?

BCS game or not, It's part of their bowl prep plan to get to the site a few days early so the players can get acclimated to the warmer climate (Iowa hasn't practiced outdoors in almost a month). Teams from the south don't normally have to adjust like cold weather teams do.

Also, FWIW, Iowa held their 11th bowl practice yesterday (Christmas).
