Peyton Manning's Work Ethic

In Sports Illustrated on him as its Sportsman of the Year,there are several stories/examples bout how detailed he is in his preperation for a game.One that stood out is that before each game, he takes the equipment mgr into the equipment room, locks the door, picks out 20 new balls and throws each to the mgr. As he throws, he says "game ball" "pre game ball". Wishes aloud that all the balls' seams were the same. I have always read where is he is a stickler for details.

Man how cool would that be for the equipment guy. You're a lowly (by the profession's standards) equipment manager, organizing pads and washing grown men's dirty jock straps...but you get to have a one on one throwing session with Peyton every week. That'd be kinda nifty.
