Talking heads confuse me

So fox does a whole segment where each commentator discuss how head coaches Garrett, shannahan, and a few other coaches lack accountability. They said players aren't afraid of the coaches of losing their jobs.

Then when discussing the changes made by Payton they jump on him and question why he made the changes.

Makes no sense
