I'm almost through season one. I really like it now that I finally got over the actress as hannah McCay in the last two terrible seasons of Dexter. Does it have an actual ending? I've heard people wanting a movie so I am thinking it doesn't.

Yes it has an ending.

Chuck is an awesome show. NBC kinda fricked them by never committing to the show so they wrapped up some story lines a little quick.

Yes, it has multiple endings thanks to a-hole NBC.

No. Just no. This is just irresponsible posting right here.

It does have an ending, but most think it sucked. They really should've left the previous season ender as the series ender. I've still not been able to rewatch the last season on Netflix (and I've rewatched the other seasons 2 times on Netflix). I'm trying to convince myself that the last season never happened.

Chuck has an ending, but it's really not a main story arc driven show. I mean it does have story arcs, but what makes the show great are the characters. The best episodes include a healthy dose of the Buy More nerds, Sarah kicking arse, Casey being pissed at Chuck's incompetence, and Chuck stepping up and being the unlikely hero.

Asking if Chuck has an ending is like asking if Psych has an ending. Even if it didn't it shouldn't affect how much you enjoyed the show. They are about the journey, not the destination.

Well, her looks were the only redeeming quality of the last two seasons of Dexter. She is also a good actress. I'm just still really upset about how one of my favorite shows ever went out.

Dang Bamatab. I assumed people understood I didn't want specific information. I added spoiler to the title.

I removed the "spoiler" part, although I'm not sure how much of a spoiler it was (especially since it has been discussed multiple times on this board alone). I really didn't reveal any details, and what I did type is probably a little misleading unless you've actually seen the last episode/season.

Thanks man. I actually stopped reading when I saw it going specific. No harm done.

But seriously consider stopping with season 4. It is kind of the perfect end for the series.

I think a lot of my jaded feeling of the 5th season is because of the way that the 4th season ended, the 5th season should've been hilariously epic, but because of the direction they took with some of the storylines (especially with the intersect program storyline itself) in an attempt to go in a more serious/drama filled approach, it really jaded me (and a lot of their fans). That is why you see such an outcry from Chuck fans to do a movie, so they can hopefully atone for that final season (to address your confusion as to why there is so much talk of a movie).

Is Season 5 a disappointment? Yes. But it still has it's moments.

Minor SPOILERS

I started rewatching Chuck after finishing Season 5 and where Chuck and Sarah ended up gave me new appreciation for where they started out.

Trying to give as little away as possible:

The finale of Chuck was a bit disappointing because while you can understand what the writers were trying to do, there were 3-4 other episodes during its run that felt like it could have been a very satisfactory conclusion to the series.

Season 5 Christmas episode would have been a better series ender than the actual one.
