on paper hes better, a lill bigger and a lil faster.

What ive heard from the guys up there is that he will be a fan and media favorite, not just because he will be a great player but hes a great kid. Talked about him being a great communicator, and that he will help pull other guys in.

So looks like we got the kid that can make the calls, communicate to the d and be a physical stud.

Minter may have been more polished, maybe, but that is about it.

CG3 will make Chavis look like a genius again.

He's ready to coach linebackers right now. He already talks like a coach. He's EXACTLY what the doctor ordered at Mike, although he could certainly play outside, if necessary.

hes a great kid.

Or he's fooling everybody - I think he is one of the defensive leaders we need for the next 3 to 5 years.

well he could, but im going by the scouts up north that talk to him on a regular basis. He prob would have committed to LSu back in April but wanted to go through the process just to make sure. told the coaches in advance that he was committing to LSU. Stuck to that word. Im pretty sure weve had other guys committ to other schools that actually surprised the coaches. Yeah coaches lie and bend the rules, but so do the prospects.

Watched a lot of video on him and can honestly say he is pretty legit. Great nose for the ball, speed, size, sheds blocks, persues the ball, and most important in my eyes is he's not an ARM TACKLER. Hits hard and wraps up! One thing we have been needing.

Well hes played football before and there are numerous people that get paid to scout these guys on college staffs and from various recruiting forums. They are the ones that come up with this. And you are on a recruiting board so it tells me you care a little bit so these guys dont get paid for nothing. And these guys that get paid to scout players, have done so for years and have seen thousands of prospects. You know it's not always the most physically gifted guy that is the best player, so at some point, iq comes into play.

i always find it funny this time of year when people just show up on the recruiting board and dont know what the frick they are talking about like yourself.

Shoots the gap without getting touched. RB mentality on where the hole is and willing to kill anyone in it. That's almost an ability he was blessed with rather than taught.
