Drew Brees hasn't thrown an interception in the red zone in 166 attempts.

Oh.

Last time I was referenced to a meaningless stat Drew Brees threw an INT in the redzone. Thanks for the jinx.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who told his wife that the friggin' announcers had just jinxed the shiite out of us ... and then came unglued when it happened about a play later.

And that was a bad, bad INT.

It just seems like every time this season after a loss, analyst say "the saints are done" then boom. Beat Buffalo (ok not that impressive) Blow out Dallas (Dallas sucks but that beat down was epic), Smoke Carolina. I think we will have a chip on our shoulder and win this game.

Drew Brees hasn't thrown two INTs in the first quarter in ten years.... wait what!?

Sorry.... I meant to say he hasn't done it in 22 hours. My bad.

They're as much unrelated as they are related. These 'blah-di-blah never happens' factoids are about as relevant as the 'blah-di-blah X/Y/Z never happened before but happened' factoids.
