Any of you BCS teamtix players gonna try your hand at Super Bowl reserves? I'm thinking about it.

LINK

Face value Super Bowl tickets cost $1000 off of this site.

Seattle ticket reserves, for example, cost about $600-$700 per reserve.

I'm just not sure what tickets will go for this year.

How much more than $1000 would these tickets sell for?

Considering Carolina.

Can't argue that it will be unique compared to other years though. That might actually help the value.

typically, several times that amount. being in NY, it could be much higher, or with weather a bit lower than normal resale but still a nice profit.

as it turns out, theres a lot of money and a lot of fans from all over the country in NY. not to mention several fan bases not afraid of the cold in the running.

If I win my fantasy football game next week I may spend the winnings on a team haha. Think a single would be worth a lot less? Would you need a pair to make good money?

So what you pay $700 bucks to reserve them for Seattle then buy the ticket for $1,000? Sell it for at least $1,701 to make a profit? I don't know much about the reserve process.

Having 2 or 4 seats together is optimal IMO. But if you just sell the reserve then it doesn't matter.

You can sell the reserve? Say I pick the panthers right now and they hit the NFC championship game? I could easily sell that for profit and not have to rely on them making the Super Bowl?

Did I say that?

Tickets were more than that last year and I enjoy the NFL better on TV.

This would be purely for financial reasons. Well I'm in NY so I may consider going since its a train ride away, but I'd 98% sell them for a few grand.

Indy ($140) and KC ($115) seem like good values.

Got Indy, Denver and Seattle. Might pull the trigger on one more NFC team next week. Niners? Bears? Not sure yet.

Just curious if any of you gambled on this as well?

I ended up with 3 reserves for the Super Bowl. I sold one reserve and bought two tix to Super Bowl.

My Indy gamble set me back but I still sold the tickets on eBay for about $5k and profited nearly $900.

Waiting for the college TeamTix market to open up again. Curious how it will work with the playoffs.
