Thinking about the current LSU basketball team got me to thinking about past ones also. I really liked Justin Hamilton when he played his one season here a couple of years ago. I was looking forward to what would have been his senior year when he opted to turn pro. He was drafted in the second round by Miami but ended up going to play in Europe for a Croatian team.

He had a very bad experience last year which is documented here LINK

Now I see where he is playing with the Sioux Falls, South Dakota NBA D league team. He is starting and playing nicely but the D league does not pay well and Sioux Falls is near the end of the world.

It makes me wish he had come back for his final year at LSU and how good could last years team have been with him at center. Should also be a lesson for any of our young players who are thinking of turning pro next year.

I brought this up at a ton of games last year. We really could've used him and as much as I and the rest of you love Tuba, we would've been faaaaaaaaaar better off
