They missed on the man they wanted and know will have to settle with circus of a coaching search.

I felt that they should have ridden with Mack for 2014 since this cycle was so publicly messy for them.

Now, they're getting ready to pay Saban money to Coach NotNickSaban.

Saban used Texas in the same way this monkey used a frog. Not Texas' fault. Still getting rid of Mack.

It was a mutual screwing by both. It was consensual.

Jimmy Sexton leveraged Texas to get a better deal for his client (CNS). It's just business.

More than likely, Saban wasn't the guy they were going to hire anyway. They can afford him, but I don't think they would have bothered to get in the bidding war though.

Steers have no balls... UT should have fired Msck if in fact they wanted Saban. This could have been done much mire fluidly

They didn't miss. Actually they didn't really try. Misinformation fed to hacks.

Texas hierarchy did not make a move on Saban. Think they knew he wouldn't move.

He wasn't going to Texas. If he wanted to go to Texas he would be there. If Saban wanted that job Mack would be gone.

Oregon is going to wax them and then they are going to hire Les Miles.

How have they missed out? What keeps Saban from still going to Texas?

There was no opening yesterday. Now there is.

If he wants to go, he will go. That simple.

They had to do this and risk failure vs. guaranteed failure with a lame duck at coach. Negative recruiting against tu would have just turned into merely statement of fact.

Damnit. I wish they could have wallowed in their own filth for one more year.
