No, but they've had this coming for a while. They way they dragged A&M through the mud during realignment with NO ONE questioning their "inside sources" (which again turned out to be wrong), this was just waiting to happen.

They were used and abused. Texas boosters leaked bad information to them to push Brown out and it probably backfired. Texas A&M is the real winner in that state.

What do they have to recover from? I'm confused. Pretty much 99% of all media just report the first thing they hear and then clean up later when the facts come out. And 100% of the time, people are still hanging on their every word 5 minutes later when the next story breaks.

Why do you think they locked down Sumiln so quickly? Blocked UT from coming after him and also allows A&M to take advantage of the cluster in Austin.

Bohls and the gang generally throw lollipops..the whole Texas HS 7-on-7 flag diseased state is soft..schools..HCs..media..etc..
It's why it has always underachieved and will continue to..Jamail and Red don't care about hardware..they've got their drinking buddy still intact..and are fine with his track record.
Mack needed Three-Pete to choke away an BCS crown with 11 pt lead & but four minutes remaining via no run plays there forth, in order for MB to cash hardware with absolutely loaded UT team. Powers blowing Lewinskis on an HC that wins that soft conference 2 of 16 years? All the four loss seasons, all the Bad Game Bob Beatdowns, Weak Sauce!

Truly a clusterfrick in Austin.
Saw a clip from the Texas awards banquet...Mack gave a little speech praising the team and the response when he was done was golf clapping...and they looked like they were embarrassed to even be that enthusiastic.

Agree. They're Alabama but without the hardware. I have no love for Alabama but at least they have a reason to talk.
