...the University of Alabama is now in his blood. He didn't take the money like everyone expected and he chose to stay in Tuscaloosa. He finally has BAMA in his heart and he is one of us forever. He has surpassed Coach Bryant as the greatest coach to ever live and he will always have crimson and white in his heart. God bless you coach and welcome to the kingdom!

It's almost like getting baptized...but better!

Why is everyone talking like this was Saban's decision? Is it not possible that he didn't take Texas because it wasn't available?

Because if Saban wanted the job, Texas would literally buy out Mack at 4:30 AM on Christmas eve.

It's just a simple question. If I'm missing something, okay, but I don't see how you can say Saban chose something when there were no choices for him.

I thought that's what they were trying to do but he didn't budge?

If Coach Bryant is like God does that make Saban Jesus? I guess it does!

A true Sado masochistic relationship requires one who lays the lumber and someone else who takes it. Apparently Bama likes to receive.

But it was a done deal weeks ago? Right?

But his debt was bought already. Right?

Texas was sending Mack down the road this weekend and announcing Saban next week. Right?

You were right though, he didn't have a choice to go to Texas. He never was going in the first place. He's been saying it for several months but no one listened because of his history.
