Does anyone have any detailed knowledge relative the chronology of Saban to Alabama? We all know about the multiple media denials, but does anyone have any information about when Bama first made contact , how long the discussions lasted and what closed the deal? Did intial contact occur prior to Shula being released? Was it with Sexton or another third party? I think a lot of this may provide insite into what , if anything, is going on here.

I love the way fans of other schools come on an LSU BOARD and berate LSU fans for talking about what's going on in the conference. On our own board.

Think of it this way. How does someone get a nickname? When someone calls you something and it strikes a nerve.
Same principle here. Most people are having fun at bama's expense because they get so defensive. Who cares what happens. Some people get worked up over things they can't control and some exploit those insecurities. It has been entertaining.

The op makes a good point. Of course I remember the way I want to remember it, but what exactly did go on behind the scenes? What was the exact timeline?
