My parents and my grandparents used a similar phrase often in describing a few folks around our small town. Also mentioned at times that "she jumped the fence" if the out of wedlock baby was perhaps different than expected.

about 80". there are no measurements on that deer that would score the palmated mass. Mass measurements would be just above the browtine on the main beam and at the base of each point, which, are almost nothing.
