How many titles do those have combined the last 20 years? I'll give you a hint, outside of Rummel's one last year, ZERO.
The reason they play by themselves is John Curtis. The split happened because of Curtis and those teams damn sure didn't want them in their division after the split.

What are you talking about? Rummel and Byrd were 5A schools and never would have played Curtis under the old system. And even when anyone could play up to 5A, did Curtis do it? Nope. Curtis has been happy winning all of their titles at the level they've been at. If they had been 5A for all those years, they probably have less than half that total.

For whatever reason, Curtis people always seem to have cock-envy over 5A schools, especially Rummel.
