The official, "I got f*cked by stat corrections" thread

First of all, why the frick does yahoo wait until Thursday morning to post damn stat corrections? No excuse for it taking this long.
Second, I just got bumped from the first round of the playoffs (I lead the league in points, by the way) on a stat correction that was posted this morning.
Apparently yahoo originally fricked up their scoring of the final Pittsburg play, because nearly every player of consequence on that roster had a minor change.
In my case, I had Le'veon Bell, whose stats were amended to subtract 9 yards from him on the play. My opponent had Antonio Brown, whose stats were amended to add 1 yard on the play. Before these "corrections", I was winning by 0.98 points. I've now lost by 0.02 and am out of the money.
Additional note: The reason Bell lost 9 receiving yards (which was his official stat correction) is that on the final play, he caught a lateral from a lineman, turned around, and lateraled to the Big Ben 9 yards behind him. In yahoo's world, that means he lost 9 receiving yards. I don't know how Brown got an extra one yard.
I'm literally sick right now. Anybody else in the same situation?

It's not Yahoo, it's the NFL. They review every play after it's finished to determine if the right person was credited correctly

That's happen to tons of people, it's fantasy which is based on luck.
quote:
If a pass is completed then all yardage on the play is considered passing yards for the quarterback and receiving yards for the players advancing the ball. It does not matter if a player did not catch the pass on the play, if they received a lateral and advanced the ball its receiving yards without a catch. So here it is:
· 4th Qtr, 0:27 remaining, 7 yards receiving for Emmanuel Sanders, not 12 yards.
· 4th Qtr, 0:03 remaining. 20 yards receiving for Emmanuel Sanders, not 7 yards.
· 4th Qtr, 0:03 remaining. -5 yards receiving for Jerricho Cotchery, not zero.
· 4th Qtr, 0:03 remaining. -9 yards receiving for Le'Von Bell, not zero.
· 4th Qtr, 0:03 remaining. 5 yards receiving for Ben Roethlisberger, not zero.
· 4th Qtr, 0:03 remaining. 56 yards receiving Antonio Brown, not 55 yards.
2nd Qtr, 13:18 remaining. Play changed from a sack by Jason Worilds to an aborted play and thus a rush by Ryan Tannehill

So you are mad because they made it right?
Would you be mad if the correction took you from out of the money to in the money?
Stats are gonna stat bruh

This doesn't make any sense.

Why do people play yahoo leagues? ESPN is the way to go.

I've wondered this same thing. I've seen that site and I'm just like wtf is this shite? It's your own fault for playing on Yahoo in the first place.

stat corrections saved my season... was down 0.54 and thought my season was over, ended up winning by 0.06 thanks to Bell/Johnson
