Pete Carroll got a perfect situation in the pros and has a personality that better fits there.

I don't think Saban is going back to the pros ever. Honestly, I think that is just fricking stupid to even suggest.

No.

Carroll ran USC like a pro team (hence, the sanctions). Easy going...just win baby, no matter what his players did.

Saban ran LSU (and Bama) like a college team, where it was his fricking way, or off the fricking team. No CBA, no union, dictatorship.

One of these styles works in the NFL, and one does not.

You can't control pro players like you can 18-22 year old kids.

Good point

I just wonder if it doesn't nag at Saban that he sucked in the pros

Earlier in the season Saban's name came up with several jobs in the NFL. Peter King said he expected several teams to go after Saban. King's statement was several teams will throw the moon at Nick Saban meaning possibly a small percentage of the team. If the right situation comes along and the money is right all coaches leave. Coaches are like used car salesmen, you can't believe a word they say.
