Saints Home Game Intro Video – Loudest Stadium

At home games this year, we play this clip on the video boards right before the player intros:

I don't understand. Isn't this completely made up? Why aren't the sacramento kings on this video? Wasn't it their record that we were trying to break this past weekend? Why are we ahead of Seattle?
I love the Saints, but god, the marketing team for this organization is horrible.
To me, this intro is just as cringe worthy as the stupid banner for "Season Sell-outs" that we put next to our Super Bowl banner. WE HAVE REAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS NOW, GUYS. We don't have to make them up anymore. Plus, Isn't the waiting list for tickets like 70,000 people? Might as well just fill out the next 5-10 years and save yourself some time.

The stadium loudness thing is lame. No matter the sport, or the location.
It's especially lame to try to break the 'record' for loudness, the week after Seattle did the same thing and whooped that arse.

My exact sentiment. We just looked butt hurt. It was stupid in Seattle, and was stupid here. If you're screaming loud just to say that you screamed loud, then you're doing it for the wrong reason.

I like the video. Gets me jacked at the dome. But I agree that the record shite is lame.

I had the same thoughts about that clip when they unveiled it in the preseason. It's completely made up BS. We have a great team and a great fan base. I also think it doesn't work very well. Its effect on riling up the crowd before the game is pretty negligible. They should just show a bunch of clips of Jimmy Graham dunking eighty billion different touchdowns over the goalposts. People would go bezerk.
