I now believe that there will be a new HC in crimson.

Reports are that Saban has been offered a contract from Texas and a new deal from Bama. We can assume both are true because there's been silence coming from the Saban camp and neither the Texas AD nor the Bama AD have refuted this. The closest we've gotten is this:

Mack's position at UT is still up in the air as for as if he will be bought out completely or paid to linger on in a front office position. So that's not refuting that there's an offer to Saban.

So given all this, either Saban is still considering both offers, which would make it a 50/50 chance of him bolting, or Saban has made the decision to go to UT and they're waiting on Mack to meet with him team to tell them he's leaving (which is what a few reports suggest). The latter would make it a 100% chance of Saban bolting.

So it's either 50/50 or 100% giving us a 75% chance of Saban going to Texas or 3-1.

Clearly this is based on assumptions of the reports we get and a very loose math.

It's starting to sink in!

If Saban leaves, they will hire someone who they feel brings continuity to the program. I think it'll be either Smart, McElwain, or Nussmeier.
