Mack is trying to go out on his own terms but the reality is that he agreed to step aside yesterday...

I don't disagree that he wants to go out on his own terms.

It's just like watching politicians. All they do is lie about everything.

He doesn't want to be asked if he is retiring. He will make the announcement hen he is ready. Way too much smoke with this one not to be a fire.

From all accounts, Mack Brown is an egotistical douche bag. He refused to walk away until being threatened to be fired. Then, had the audacity to think he could determine when and how his exit should be handled.

He lost that right when he refused to step down on his own.

Has he agreed to a buyout? Perhaps that is what this is about.

My favorite was "I can admit this now: I've missed the Texas A&M rivalry. It's not often you can find an opportunity to beat the hell out of another man in his own house without searching on Craigslist for hours. But I'm sincerely happy for your success Aggies. We always did have something in common, and that's losing games thanks to Case McCoy."
