I wish they would wait until after the World Cup to announce the winner so that there would be that tremendously pressure filled situation of Ronaldo and Messi having to put on God Mode performances to court voters, where Miracle Goals and Poetic Footballing Moves must flash regularly.

well he was playing really great from March on and prior to özil's arrival this season but that sure as hell didn't hurt having other great players on your team is pretty much a necessity for any player to truly each their potential
