He's putting up these absurd numbers with these terrible qbs throwing to him

If he goes somewhere with a good Qb like Brady or Rivers or maybe even Luck, could he ever be on the same level as Megatron?

Imagine his numbers if he wasn't suspended the first two games.

He is on pace to set the single season YPG record.

Not on Megatron level yet because Megatron has done this for years, but he top 5 WR in the NFL.

No, but he's on an incredible hot streak. Saints should have given up a first rounder for him

Obviously

Worse QB, worse team, and he is having an incredible year

His team is losing and he gets unreal targets...see calvin Johnson 2012

I may be bias because Gordon is carrying my fantasy team to the championship

Gordon is getting a filthy amount of targets with basically no competition for balls. The trifecta of poor QB's in Cleveland is not really hurting him much. If you get 15 targets, then you will get in work.

ETA: Have any of you guys ever seen Gordon play? He looks impressive, but Calvin is on another level.

That's my point. Besides him, who else do defenses have to worry about on the Browns offense. Everyone knows he is their offense and he still puts up Megatron type numbers

Obviously he needs to have these type of seasons for the next few years to be in the conversation with Calvin but I think he's the closest player to him currently

I remember those 2 ridiculous years that Larry Johnson had in the mid 2000s, and then he fell off the face of the earth. I would like to see him do this a little longer before I put him in the Megatron category.

Jordan Cameron is a legitimate receiving tight end. However, he was used in a lot more blocking schemes recently until today.

Everyone knew it was going to Calvin and AP in 2012. They still went ham. Gordon is on a crazy tear, but you could very obviously see that Calvin is a better WR if you watch them both play.

He's up there and the fact that he's putting up crazy numbers with a journeyman QB should be noted.

I totally agree that Calvin Johnson is the better player but I think Gordon is on his way to being mentioned in the same category as Johnson

and then he ripped off that fricking 80 yarder.
