Is Auburns offense any different than GT, Navy, and Army and them who run the triple option?

It appears to be the same except better athletes and more hurry up.

Yes it is. This is the SEC so anything they do is hundred times better. Beside Gus invented this offense, everyone else copied him. Even those Nebraska team from back in the eighties.

You should watch more GT, and Army then.

GT has probably ran Pistol/SG 3 times this year.

I'm not trying to be a dick or anything I just want someone to explain the difference.

Auburn is obviously just running the same play over and over again and it is a form of triple option. I am wondering what the difference is between the other schools?

The other schools are under center every single play, Auburn is never under center.

SG/Pistol has more options/better formations.

So same plays just not under center and multiple formations?

Right.

The multiple formations keep the defenses way more off balance than a GT or Army.

Well that and Auburn does actually pass out of them too, I believe Army won a game this year without attempting a pass.

Um, yes. Auburn's offense is a lot different than those teams.

Its triple option out of shotgun instead of under center. More passing friendly.
